Dentist in Cambridge

Dr. Meetu Mahendra was born in India and graduated from dental school in 2000. She then moved to Canada and recertified in 2005 graduating from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry with Honors and practiced in Port Perry for four years. She has been serving dental needs of Cambridge population since 2009. Dr. Meetu believes in listening to her patients needs and priorities as well as educating them via clear and thorough communication to achieve optimum oral health.  She is committed to delivering the highest quality of dental care for you and your family in a pleasant and comfortable environment. Since childhood, she has wanted to be a healthcare practitioner because of their ability to improve another person's quality of life. In Dr. Meetu’s spare time she loves to cook for her children, and spend time watching them grow, also enjoys hiking, biking and reading. As active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and the American Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Meetu attends Continuing Education lectures and stays up-to-date with the latest techniques. She is also a member of International association of Orthodontics and is able to provide Orthodontic services to her patients.

I graduated from Dental School at Pune University India in 2000 and went on to do a rigorous one year general residency. After practicing for a year, I taught at a dental school in Lucknow, India. 

I moved to Canada in 2002, cleared the eligibility exam, and from a pool of 1,500 foreign trained dentists, was selected into Dalhousie University and University of Toronto to join the re-certification program. In 2005 I completed the intensive two year program with Honors from University of Toronto. 

Afterwards I worked as an associate in Cobourg and Port Perry before practising at Saginaw Dental Centre with my wife, Dr. Meetu Mahendra. 

I am very committed to learning more about the field of dentistry. I've completed many hours of continuing education courses and completed implant mini residency with Dr. Ken Hebel and Dr. Carle Misch. 

I am a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association and the Wellington - Waterloo Dental Association. 

I am happily married to Dr. Meetu Mahendra. Together we have two beautiful kids. Shiv is 9 years old and Somya, our youngest, is 6 years old. 

I love to stay active and have a need for speed. Over the years I have raced NASCARS, Laborghinis, and Ferraris. For a time I also enjoyed motorcycling until a minor accident in 2009 made me decide to take a leave of absence from the sport. 

My hobbies include hiking, biking, and gardening. I completed the CN Tower Edgewalk in 2013 and hope to someday muster enough courage to parajump!

Dr. Hur is a dentist in pursuit of perfection. She was born and raised in South Korea .She moved with her family in 1999 to Waterloo, Ontario where she still resides. Dr. Hur graduated as a dentist from University of Toronto in  2007. As an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and the American Academy of General Dentistry she is very gentle, compassionate, patient and strives to take the time to listen to her patients. We value her hard work and her skills in oral surgery have become a great attribute to our office. In her spare time, she enjoys engaging in sports activities and reading to improve her knowledge. 

Samanta is a graduated dentist from Mexico where she was born and raised. After practising dentistry for a few years, she moved to Brazil with the love of her life. While waiting for her diploma to be validated she had the opportunity to discover some other career paths that dentistry could offer .She worked for a non-profit dental organization as project manager for 3 years, discovering her strength in the administrative and planning area. The move to Canada came as a family goal, once here the position as dental office administrator and patient care was a perfect fit for her. Samanta’s sense of humour and cheerful  personality makes patients  feel comfortable and relaxed. When not at work , she loves to travel, stay educated in different cultures and traditions as well as relishes in indulging in homemade food!

Tina was born and raised in India. She then moved to the United Kingdom in 1997 where she completed her Certified Dental Assisting accreditation in West Thames College. Tina enthusiastic personality and warm manner is a welcome addition to our clinical team. She claims she’s always been drawn and had a passion for the dental field. When on her free time Tina enjoys being with friends, family and cooking for her two sons. Tina has extensive experience on the clinical side of dentistry, assisting with restorative, cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridges and  root canals. We feel exceptionally honoured to have Tina as a part of our everyday dental team.

Corina is born and raised  in Kitchener, Ontario , she has a beautiful family, husband and 2 children Corina loves being a dental hygienist and says most of her inspiration came from her dentist. As a child she always enjoyed visiting the dental office and wants her patients to have a similar experience.. She Graduated Dental Hygiene College with honours in 2007, from Hamilton Ontario. In her spare time outside of work she plays softball and enjoys fishing with her kids. Corina's favourite part of her job is providing patients the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile. 

Fatima was born in Brantford ON. Coming from two very different backgrounds, she has grown up traveling from Ontario to Newfoundland, and all the way from Pakistan to Dubai. Fatima is committed to making each patient’s dental visit a positive and educational experience and takes pride in creating a comfortable environment for patients of all ages. After highschool she graduated Dental Hygiene with Honors from SODC in Hamilton Ontario in 2023. She recognizes the importance of ongoing education and is actively pursuing a Bachelors in health Science. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as running and hiking, crocheting, and painting.
